PV modules laboratory tests
Insulation resistance measurement of PV modules is a process requiring specialised equipment in order to be carried out correctly and efficiently.
According to the IEC61730-2:2004 standard, in order to identify and document Riso insulation resistance problems in PV modules (1000 V) the inspection voltage should be in the order of 6KV (6000 V).
Kmetrics boasts the appropriate equipment to identify and certify insulation resistance problems that are usually due to PV modules or wiring.
Furthermore, Kmetrics enables the measurement of insulation resistance in a humid environment, in accordance with IEC61215 standard par.10.15.
