PV panel thermography measures the thermal radiation of the panels and is carried out using infrared cameras, which are widely known as ‘thermal cameras’.

These cameras capture, in the form of different colours, areas with different temperatures. In this way, it is possible to inspect PV panels that exhibit ‘hot spots’.

The Mobile PV-Testcenter is equipped with a high-resolution infrared camera, capable of determining, with great precision, the existence ‘hot spots’. It is also possible to inspect junction boxes for any failure.
