The Mobile PV Testcenter is a mobile PV modules testing lab. It is installed on a trailer of suitable dimensions and thus allows the testing to be carried out directly at the installation site. 

The Mobile PV Testcenter is suitable for testing PV modules manufactured between 2006 and 2018.

Kmetrics is the exclusive representative in Greece of the German company MBJ Solutions GmbH the supplier of this equipment.

The MBJ Solutions GmbH is a global pioneer based in Hamburg, Germany, specializing in the production of this specific laboratory equipment, which it has been developing and advancing for over 15 years.

The Mobile PV Testcenter can carry out specialised laboratory tests in order to certify the condition of PV modules.

More specifically, the Mobile PV Lab Advanced is used to carry out the following:

• • power measurements (I-V test) of the modules, according to EN60904 and EN60891 standards
  • electroluminescence test (EL test) for visualisation of possible defects in the module cells
  • diodes testing
  • thermal imagine (IR test) of the module to detect hot-spots

The Mobile PV Lab Advanced can be used to fully inspect up to 300 modules every 8 hours, regardless of weather conditions.

A test certificate is issued for each tested module which includes the full results of the electroluminescence test and labelling of cell defects as well as images of the modul electroluminescence test.
